I am tired. I am tired of the excuses, the defenses, the deferences paid to men, to old men, to those who assume they have the right to touch and grab and fondle as they please. I am tired of telling people what men do and nothing happening. I am tired of speaking the truth and no one listening. I am tired of assholes who excuse other assholes. Of systems that protect abusers and rapists and politicians who kill children's dreams. I am tired. And so most of the time I have no words because I've used them up and no one listened. Because I use them and no one changes. I turn around and a douche bag in a suit with bankrupt accounts and lawsuits peppered down his back screams to the world he's the best. He can do as he pleases. Maybe no one ever listened to him? Seems that way. But you reap what you sow. Justice in its truest sense has no time restrictions, no superficial measure. It seeks no social acceptance as we've come to know, no approval from the Joneses. Justice, one day, shall roll down like water. If we don't drown ourselves first. JEO 10.14.16
