about me

Jeanine Elizabeth Otte (she/they) is a writer, speaker, and social change co-creator. They are a Poet and Founder of the Project, Our Nature is Our Way - bringing visibility, connection, and investment to nature-based healing for survivors of gender-based violence. Jeanine's poetry, which explores our shared pain from a racist patriarchy while celebrat the Divine Feminine, has been featured in anthologies published by GirlGodBooks. Jeanine has twenty years of professional experience working at the intersection of the environment, social equity, health, and wealth. They are a certified conversation leader for a caring economy through the Center for Partnership Systems, member of the Community Advisory Council for the Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center, and inaugural alumna of the Quentin D. Young Equity Project connecting practitioners of social equity across sectors. She is a partner to Carlos and parent to Malcolm, Michelle, and Nicole.
